Shchukino Recreation center is located in the Vorotynsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, on the left bank of the Volga River, 130 km from Nizhny Novgorod. These places are one of the most beautiful and ecologically clean corners not only of the Volga region, but also of the whole of Russia. The room stock of our cozy base consists of 23 Standard, Junior Suite and Suite rooms, as well as a cottage and two A-frame houses.

The base is perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Pike, catfish, walleye, asp, bersh, rotan, chub, burbot, ide, bream, bream, perch — this is not a complete list of fish that you can catch on the Volga or nearby lakes. These places have long been favored by sports fishing enthusiasts, so the base has repeatedly become a venue for sports fishing competitions. Here you will find your own descent to the water and a pier, your own fleet of small vessels that you can rent, as well as equipment for cutting and storing catch.

Shchukino recreation center is also perfectly adapted for family holidays. Houses and cottages with a kitchen and a veranda, playgrounds and sports grounds, entertainment and educational programs for children, a billiard room, a sauna complex — everyone will find something to their liking. And gazebos with a barbecue will allow you to spend time with your family over lunch or dinner.

One of the unique features of the base is the possibility of close communication with Samoyedic dogs, also called Samoyeds. For many thousands of years, they have been a constant companion and friend of the northern peoples. This inevitably affected the character of the Samoyeds. They are active, playful and very friendly, especially to children. And watching the puppies lifts the mood for the whole day.

Among other things, the guests of the base are offered a wonderful sauna complex, a billiard room, boat trips on boats, rowboats and sapboards, excursions to the surrounding attractions and much more. You can order any service or activity on the base when booking a room or immediately after arrival.
